Martim Menezes

Martim is a Partner at CCA ONTIER since 1997. His first years were exclusively dedicated to litigation in court, where he distinguished himself. Afterwards, he specialised in legal advisory for companies in the areas of TMT and Intellectual Property, regularly taking part in conferences and seminars as a speaker. Currently, he has started to dedicate more time to business law. He believes that, in most cases, asking the right questions is as important as giving the most accurate legal answer. As a lawyer, he is known for his exceptional client relationship skills, namely, for the great drive and creativity he demonstrates in following up all matters entrusted to him. His litigation experience and expertise as a legal advisor for companies allow Martim Menezes to understand the effects of each decision in the long run, as well as to anticipate and prevent potential disputes in the future. He was the first Portuguese lawyer to conclude a direct filing (IPO) of a Portuguese company in NASDAQ. He has worked for clients in a large number of jurisdictions, including Brazil, Spain, Italy, France, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Dubai, Qatar, Angola, Cape Verde, China, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela and the United States. Member of the Portuguese Bar Association. Professional license no. 13 117 L Member of the Brazilian Bar Association of São Paulo under no. 320104.
