Henrique Salinas

Henrique is a Partner at CCA ONTIER and is in charge of the Criminal Law Department. He began working at the firm in 2007. After graduating in 1991, he began his career practising law and as a teacher at the Faculty of Law and at the Catholic Lisbon School of Business and Economics. For over 20 years he managed to combine his professional experience as a lawyer and the teaching of the law and the advancement of the academic career, obtaining a PhD in 2012. His speciality areas are Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law, Economic Criminal Law, Administrative offences and Regulatory Compliance, either directly as a legal representative or as an advisor. He has a strong experience in international proceedings. Currently, he is also involved in the development and implementation of corporate Criminal Compliance programmes. Member of the Portuguese Bar Association. Professional License no. 10757L.

Professional Experience

Assistant Professor of the Lisbon School of the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University, lecturing the undergraduate courses of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Criminal Law II, and the courses of Administrative Offenses, Appeal and Enforcement of Sentences, and Crimes Against Individuals for the Master in Law programme

He taught Fundamental Concepts of Law I and II and Economic Criminal Law at the Catholic Lisbon School of Business and Economics

Coordinator of the Master in Law of the Lisbon School of the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University

Since 1997, he has taught several post-graduation courses at the Portuguese Catholic University. Coordinator of the post-graduation in Procedural Law and of the post-graduation in Corporate Criminal Law of the Portuguese Catholic University

Teacher of Criminal Procedure Law at the Instituto Superior de Ciências Policiais e Segurança Internal (2000/2001)
