Carlos Cruz is a founding Partner of CCA ONTIER and he has practiced corporate law from the beginning. He is an experienced lawyer in complex operations involving several legal practice areas, such as commercial and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual and industrial property and competition law. Throughout his career, he earned a reputation in the area of TMT, representing media companies, publishing houses and new technology and internet companies.
Carlos Cruz is also known for his role in arbitration, both in Portugal as well as internationally. He is an intuitive lawyer who knows the world well and the reality of companies. More than a lawyer, his goal is to be an ally.

Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 1974

Lecturer in the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (Labour Law - 1979),

Beyond the Law

Carlos Cruz takes part in classic car races with enthusiasm. Another one of his passions is collecting works of art, which was passed down to him by his father, the lawyer Fernando Cruz. He is a keen supporter of Sporting Clube de Portugal and he was once a member of the Board of the club.
